Tall Boots

Ive found the perfect pair of tall boots for fall and winter i'm so exited as they arrived in the post today :) though I would share them with y'all.They are the 'Ryder leather boot by Comfortview'mine are in brown.I have finally found a tall boot that fits my 18" calves yay!Hooray for wide calf boots!

OPI'S Heart Throb

I was on the hunt for a sheer pink polish one that I could wear alone or as a french manicure base colour and I found it: OPI'S Heart Throb is prefect! I'm totally in love with it , it reminds me of my OPI 'Bubblebath' but a pinker version its great glad I found it im sure it will become a staple colour in my collection!Though id share it with you guys :)           <3

Bronzy Babe + Youtube

**WARNING exited bronzer spiel ahead**

I am a true believer in bronzing to contour your face,I have a round face and my cheek bones are less then prominent.
So to give the allusion of  slimmer more defined face features I like to contour my face,for as long as I can remember Ive loved and been using the elf -bronzer in 'bronzed' because before that I used the Nars-laguna and i find them the exact same so of course, budget friendly me would opt for the way more affordable elf bronzer as a dupe if you ask me.

I get most of my makeup inspiration from Sam(YT) so when she mentioned that one of her favourite bronzer's was 'Bronzy Babe' a while back i just has to find it.
I finally found it at Trade Secrets yay!When I first saw it in person i was like holly crudmoli that's dark i will never be able to pull that off with my very 'fair' skin lol!But i tested it out on my hand and realized it blends so nicely it looked amazing so I went ahead and picked it up.

I have to tell you guys it is great I'm hooked already my new favorite bronzer it blends and its smooth and the colour is really fantastic even with my barely NC/15 skin.
I really do think this bronzer can work for anybody and I recommend it to anybody who wants a great bronzer without looking orange/fake or disco ball!

 I follow Samantha Schuerman on  YT and she makes amazing beauty videos,she also has a daily vlog channel with her husband and son oh and moo! called the 'Schuermanshow' I love them they are the most honest/humble/genuine people on YT I watch them everyday.
They are really busy so I doubt they will read this but I just want to say they are amazing and I enjoy all there videos I hope they continue to do them for a long time I really appreciate them even on a rough day you can count on there videos to put a smile on your face!

slatkin & co. candles

Ive been totally obsessed with candles for about a year or so now.I love going into different rooms in the house and smelling something yummy like having a sweet one in the kitchen or a fresh smelling one in the washroom  it just makes me happy i guess.So here's a few Ive been loving all summer long and one i can't wait to burn in Fall.

I love fall! & its fashion

I Don't Know why but my favourite season has always been fall,it might be the beautiful changing colours of the leaves and the 'fresh smelling air'(is that weird?I think air smells fresh...) anyway I do though.                                              I'm also a big scarf lover and I guess in fall I have so many more scarf options...Besides all that i guess there are allot of reasons i love fall well other then the snow is coming not far behind of course.

I know a big trend for the last well while now as Been leather jackets whether they be bomber style,motorcycle style or cropped and whatever the colour. Leather as Been a 'staple' in most of our wardrobes id say.
Ive Been sporting a black leather very edgy motorcycle jacket the last few years,but this year i though id get a brown/bomber one to add to my jacket collection I didn't want to go all out so i just picked one up they had at Old Navy witch I love that store Btw.

Now for me Fall starts September 1. I don't know why but in my mind it's always been that way so only having 2 weeks left till fall I'm pretty exited to start wearing my new jacket and of course my scarves :)

Taylor Swift-TCA inspired makeup

So here's the look I promised you guys this week with the new Cover Girl 'blue bomb' primer/eyeshadow.My take on Taylor Swifts blueish/turquoise makeup look from the teen choice awards i just though it was different and i wanted to put my spin on it hope you enjoy :)(the colours in my pictures are not as vibrant as they really are sorry about that)
                 
  PRODUCT'S AND HOW I USED THEM:

-First I take my highlight Powder by Physician's formula in 'glow pearl' and i highlighted my brow bone and inner eye (tear duct area).





-Then i took my Cover girl blue bomb primer/eyeshadow and put it on my lid making a cat eye shape,i did not take it as high up or out as Taylor did but this is not a identical look it is only where i got my inspiration.

-Then taking a eyeshadow brush with some shimmery baby blue shadow in coastal scents palette, i blended out the blue bomb shadow and did windshield wiper motions.(the photo again looks all lot lighter then it really is  :(                        

-I also took a smaller eyeshadow brush and took the baby blue shadow  1/2 in on my lower lash line.








-Next Up I took my Lise Watier feline black liquid liner and lined above my top lashes.

-finally I finished up by applying two coats of Revlon grow luscious mascara and lightly adding urban decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero to my water line and the look is finished!hope you try it and like it.Again the blue in the photo does not do it justice at all darn camera.

Elizabeth Arden: Love it or Leave it

For some time now I have been a Elizabeth Arden fan, and with a few of her products being  'can't live without' products.I'm only gonna mention products that I own or that Ive owned in the past because if I start mentioning every product of hers that Ive tried once or sampled we will be here all day!So ill list the name of the product and a picture of it tell you whether I LOVE IT or whether you  can LEAVE IT on that product.Of course these are my opinions.

- I will start with a cult favorite,the Eight hour cream,this is by far my favorite product by Elizabeth Arden I cannot live without it!I give this product a LOVE IT .

-Pure Finish Mineral Tinted Moisture cream SPF 15:This is pretty much all I wear in the summer on my face its very light and gives me a perfect dewy look without being grease face.(don't forget to powder)I give this product a LOVE IT. 

-Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20:This is what i wear over my tinted moisturizer it has a light/medium build able coverage I give this another LOVE IT.                                                  

-Elizabeth Arden cheek color in Pink glow 04:I think this is a okay blush its nothing special it gives color must be care full to put it on with a light hand,I am not a fan of the smell at all and I am not one of those people who are particularly sensitive to smell.So for the price i think you could find something all lot better so I give this  a LEAVE IT.                                                                                   

-Their Elizabeth Arden makeup brush is amazing SO soft I use it for my ^ powder foundation mentioned above I don't think this i must go out and buy it but i do have all lot of makeup brushes and i still tend to pick it up all lot more then others i have even from mac or sigma.So this is a LOVE IT.                                                                                        

-Elizabeth Arden lipsticks now to me it doesn't matter how many different lipsticks Ive bough ten from Elizabeth Arden whether it be from one line or the next I always love her lipsticks there pigmented,moisturizing and are just beautiful colors and the  packaging is always so chic LOVE IT.

-5th Avenue perfume is very distinctive and I think more suitable for a mature women ,but everyone likes different scents especially when it comes to perfume so when i received this as a gift i though wow this smells nice but just could not see myself wearing it so my mom tried it and really liked it so i gave it to her.She then bought me the green tea perfume by Elizabeth Arden witch i adore .So I say if you walk by a Elizabeth Arden counter smell a few and let me know what you think about these perfumes and let me know your favorite products by Elizabeth Arden.

NEW OPI-Touring America

Have you all seen the new OPI collection?
Well if you haven't here's some swatches with the names for you :)

To be completely honest I was disappointed with these colours until I tried them out they are very pigmented and some of witch are unique Colours...I do for some reason like 'color to diner for' witch is a red/rose with gold and pink shimmers i think its beautiful(and I'm not a 'red' colour kinda girl)I all so like 'my address is Hollywood' rosy pink with gold shimmers.I think the two grey colours(Suzie takes the wheel-French quarter for your thoughts) are bit strange since their one hue apart for each other but I'm sure some people will like them,this is my opinion only.

DIY-luscious 'beachy' hair

So here's my version of the 'how to beach hair'
(keep in mind the products used work on my naturally wavy hair)
So to begin your gonna need:
  1-damp hair
  2-Pantene leave in conditioner
  3-Marc Anthony's strictly curl's-curl booster spray   
  4-any hairspray of you choice

~So once your hair is damp you can gently comb it through with a wide tooth comb like this one -->
(if you're wondering mine is from 'the body shop')

~Once you've combed your hair you should now apply a generous amount of your Pantene leave in conditioner and start scrunching your hair until you feel its enough (about 2 mins).This step is not only going to condition your hair but will leave it being more 'piecey' while it dries witch is what we want when trying to achieve this look.

~Next your gonna take your curl boosting spray and spray once all over our hair.Then flip your head upside down and spray all over hair and begin scrunching.After scrunching flip head back up and spray all over once more and repeat scrunching.(seems like a lot of steps but really isn't when you're doing it)

~Final step take your hairspray of choice and lightly mist your entire hair.

** 411 ** on the New CoverGirl intense shadowblast primer+eyeshadow

I recently discovered this product by Cover Girl their new 'intense shadow blast eyeshadow and primer in one.I got 2 of them 'blue bomb'& 'Forever pink' I put them to the test wearing them for 9 hrs straight! And I think they make a great primer with Colour but I would recommend them for a primer only just because the Colour did fade as the day went on to my surprise there was no creasing...But I still love them I think they are a good product especially for the price(around $8) Ive also created a look with them using other eye shadows with them. I will do a blog post featuring this look soon keep your eye out for that and that was my '2 cents' on this product if you  have tried it id love to hear how you like it?

My top 5 mascaras:

-Mascara has to be my #2 can't live without makeup item.So I decided I would let you guys no what mascaras I love! Ive tried many loved many but as of yet these are my top 5. And another thing I truly believe 'drug stores' have some of the best ones to offer so don't spend your $$ on high end mascaras when you can get just as good if not better in your local 'Superdrug''shoppers''cvs' depending where you live.(here I go from #5 to #1)




#5: Maybelline's FULL N' SOFT mascara
   - Great for a full yet soft look the name says it all also great for those days u just want to enhance your features with a soft makeup look.

#4: Benefit's BAD gal lash mascara
 -I'm not sure if you all consider this a 
drug store brand or not but my drug store sells it so I'm gonna include it Amazing mascara for going out on the town love it for a dark dramatic thick look.

#3: Cover Girl's lash blast lengths mascara
  -If your lashes are thick and you're looking to lengthen them this is for you or if you just want longer lashes try this on for length!  

#2: Revlon grow luscious plumping mascara 
   -Loving this new version of the 'grow luscious line mascara' great definition/plumping + bonus it helps your lashes grow!

  -I no what you're thinking #1 and 2 
are the same but no they are different,they apply differently and give a different look this mascara gives amazing length thickens my lashes and has a very build able application plus I have definitely longer lashes now that Ive used this product for months i am a true believer in grow luscious and if I could only pick one for me this would be it!

Rise of the Planet of the apes+Dove: Mini reviews

Lately Ive been using the 'Dove damage therapy intensive repair daily conditioner and it's amazing my hair has never felt so soft & looked so shiny and my 236mL tube of it only cost me $4.99 at shoppers drug mart.I have tried so many different conditioner's like 3 minute miracle by Aussie witch is okay then theirs the Moroccan leave in conditioner it dried my hair out idk why because Ive read some great reviews on it... And others Ive tried that are less then worth mentioning.All and all I think ill stick with this product for a while.Oh and it smells so good!GO DOVE

Tonight I went out and saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes witch without a doubt has turned the old 60's movie into something a little more modern and Very believable  trust me I wanted the apes to have revenge on the humans and I'm human...I liked the dark twist on it as well! another thumbs up!GO APES GO

The water Bobble?

So There I was at my local GNC and what do I find?This water bottle called the water 'bobble' well first of all it is a very cute name :) so it catches my attention so I grab it and start reading...Well it claims to be recycled and that theirs a filter inside witch you can clearly see and i had never seen anything like this before the closes thing would be a 'brita' still completely different so i kept reading it said it filters the chlorine out to make better tasting and its good for up to 300 refills at that point I was sold and i just wanted to try it to see if it really made the water taste different.Because where i live i find the water taste like chlorine :(  So i am ashamed to say i do drink plastic water bottles...But was this water 'bobble' the perfect find?Well I do like it and i do find the chlorine taste less my only complaint is that if your in a hurry to drink it's not great because you have to really suck and squeeze for the water to come out it will not pour into or come out easily but if it wasn't for that id get rid of the plastic water bottles once and for all but for now i will use the 'bobble' when I'm home but when i go out i will most likely throw a couple plastic water bottles in the car or purse but i have not completely written it off as a great idea and I hope that they fix the nozzle on it because i do believe that it works other then that.            <3

BURT'S BEES Tinted Lip Balm Review

I'm definitely a fan of Burt's Bees products I use alot of there products daily. And after trying this 'new' tinted lip balm I am still a fan :) maybe even more so if that's possible lol. It glides on smoothly leaving my lips feeling and looking conditioned Plus it leaves a beautiful sheer color behind witch is amazing on those days you just don't feel like wearing a whole bunch of lipsticks or high gloss on your lips and for me that's everyday i like to just keep my lips conditioned with a bit of color on them(since i usually do bold eye makeup) and if I had to pick a favorite color id say i like the pink blossom best.So in conclusion I give this product a thumbs up in my books!Here's a swatch for you  of my pink blossom!And let me know your favorite Burt's Bees product!           <3

My August 'Must haves'

I thought I would share with you guys the items I am currently loving for this month! :)

- I tried to pick only one nail polish but i couldn't pick so ill put both the first one is O.P.I  Shorts Story: its a beautiful bright almost barbie Pink color(the Brights collection).And the second is O.P.I Mermaids Tears: A perfect twist to a mint green color(pirates of the Caribbean collection).

-Favorite face makeup product  at the moment definitely my e.l.f  Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder Duo also a dupe for 'Nars lacuna-orgasm duo'.

-My bag of choice has to be my Coach swing pack perfect for what I need in the summer unless I'm going to the beach of course cuz I'm definitely a 'big bag girl' lol but it's definitely perfect for going shopping etc...

-I need my Sunglasses!!! (mine are from Coach).

-My scent this summer has to be the New Marc Jacobs 'Fresh Daisy' Love it!!

-And last but not least are my super comfy moccasins from softmoc.

Discussion TUESDAY:Revlon colorstay foundation

For some time now have been using the 'revlon colorstay foundation' and I love it! Amazing coverage great color selection and it did not break out my sensitive,acne prone skin.So why am I writing about this foundation that to me seems great?Well I am always searching for the best products I tend to buy it once then move on but with the colorstay it's different Ive repurchased it 4 time's now.But Am I settling?Is there a better foundation out there?I don't really know every body's skin is different and reacts differently to different products so can i say that colorstay is the best for me Idk. But it may just be my 'holygrail' foundation..How many different foundations should a girl try?How many have yous tried?Well let me know your thoughts!And let me know what kind of products you would like me to discuss with you guys next tuesday!     <3

john frieda go blonder review x2?

 ****WARNING THIS CONTAINS MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ****A few months ago I decided to get my hair recolored to something a little closer to my natural hair color.My natural hair color is 'dirty blonde' so i went blonde! Now I wanted to maintain the beautiful ash blonde color i now had so i decided to go out to my local drugstore and get a blonde or Purple  type shampoo.And of course I had done my homework on what type of shampoo's and conditioners others had bought and liked.So i picked up 'John frieda's  'Sheer Blonde Go blonder lightening' shampoo/conditioner and i also bought 'Sheer Blonde color renew tone correcting' shampoo/conditioner.

 -Now i wanted to test these 2 products out each for one month too see if they really did what they promised on the bottle and for my first month i used the 'Go blonder lightening'.Now ive just got to say this right away i did not enjoy this product at all it left my hair greesy and  i did not even see a 'lightening' in my hair.Tho I did use it for the entire month to give it a chance and to give you guys a fair review.And just to say i WILL NOT be repurchasing the go blonder products.



-Now for month 2: I used the 'color renew' and i have to tell you guys its
a totally different product I love it! I don't know where to start its lathers way better then the other go blonder stuff it made my hair soft  and shiny  and to top it all off it got rid of a yellow tint to my hair that i was getting and to be honest i think it was from that 'go blonder crapola. But anyways just to say i WILL be repurchasing the the color renew products !
